Yuan T. Lee
19 November 1936 – present
Yuan T. Lee is a Taiwanese chemist who shared the 1986 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for work on the dynamics of chemical elementary processes, developed through crossed molecular beam experiments. He taught at the University of Chicago and the University of California, Berkeley before returning to Taiwan, where he served as president of Academia Sinica from 1994 to 2006. He later led the International Council for Science.
